Our fully-funded Net Zero Future Bootcamps invite technically-minded individuals and sustainable startups to enhance their green skills and explore green career paths. Each session equips participants with sustainable engineering principles from leading London South Bank University academics and employment specialists

As a Sustainability Project Officer (sometimes called a Retrofit Advisor), you will be at the forefront of driving change in energy efficiency within existing buildings across the UK. Your role involves managing sustainability projects, providing consultations, and offering support and guidance to individuals and organizations transitioning towards eco-friendly practices

Forward Trust's Green Skills program provides a comprehensive course in the skills required to succeed in the workforce. The program covers both environmental awareness and climate change, giving participants the tools they need to confidently enter or re-enter green sector work. Upon completion, participants will have the chance to interview directly with a sector of their choice

The Master of Architecture (MArch) RIBA Part 2 course at LSBU promotes a studio-based culture which encourages debate and enquiry about contemporary societies, the postmodern city, and relationships between urban and landscape conditions. These are considered through a range of innovative and personal responses to architectural design projects; environmental and constructional technologies; critical research expressed in extended, dissertation writing, and the skills needed to operate as a progressive professional practitioner.

Vocational programme for 16-24 year olds with an Educational Health and Care Plan. Students learn Horticulture, and this is supplemented by Functional Skills classes and an Employability course,

The Certificate of Higher Education in Global Design Engineering (Cert HE) enables you to explore the content and learning outcomes of the first year of the Global Design Engineering BEng.

This course teaches the critical elements involved in designing buildings that don’t rely on fossil fuels. It focuses on the whole-building systems and HVAC engineering and is aimed at those who are familiar with the built environment but not with low-carbon building services

This course is aimed at facilities and maintenance managers. It covers how to operate buildings to deliver optimal comfort and cost and operation efficiency, and deliver best operational practices without reliance on fossil fuels, through an understanding of good control design and data management

This course covers the global context of climate change and global energy supplies; the definition, boundaries, challenges and opportunities of Net Zero within the built environment; and the systems-change drivers, from national legislation to local policy and town planning as well as energy networks, grids, transportation and urban contexts

This course builds on existing knowledge to demonstrate new methods and practices that result in truly sustainable buildings that deliver to Net Zero requirements for their whole lifecycle. It includes the importance of whole-life carbon accounting and the role of procurement in reducing embodied carbon
