Plumbers and electricians (Southwark residents only)

Duties

‍The successful candidate(s) will work for B&F on Western Yards. There will be an opportunity to progress onto a number of different projects ranging from High spec apartments. Hotels to student accommodation. Their main responsibility will be to work alongside and support the management and carry out the Electrical /plumbing installation to the required quality our business expects. They will be given work faces and targets to complete on a daily/weekly basis.

Essential Criteria

‍All roles within our organisation are extremely important. We ensure we develop all the skills for each successful candidate to ensure we have a very skilled tradesperson/Mate/Labourer.
They will need to be self-motivated, ambitious, and resourceful with good communication skills. All employees are client facing on a daily basis, so maturity and professionalism is required at all times. A reasonable level of fitness is required.

Plumbers – NVQ2 qualification with 5 years on site experience following qualification or NVQ3 with 2 years on site experience following qualification

Electricians – NVQ3 & AM2 qualification with 2 years on site experience following qualification.

Is a CSCS card required?  Yes

● It has proven very successful in partnership with other organisations for candidates to do 2 week unpaid work experience placement. This allows the candidates to do a working interview on site to see if they enjoy the specific trade they have selected.
