Formwork Apprentice- City of London

We are currently looking for a number of Formwork Apprentices to work on our site at Fenchurch Street, City of London.

 We would be looking to start them in October for a month’s work trial then if all goes well we would then place them onto a Apprenticeship.  They would need to attend Skills East Training Centre in Stratford for their apprenticeship course.

As a Formwork Apprentice, you would be  required to participate in a relevant apprenticeship scheme, attending an  appropriate Skills Centre to the trade.
 
 You will  be required to:
 Shift materials around the site and to the correct destination
 Assist on site  and report to site team
 Other duties as instructed by a supervisor/ manager / director
 We need applicants with theoretical skills who can apply them in practical  situations.

 Practical ability and awareness of working safely.
 Self-motivation and desire to learn.
 Is both resilient and committed.
 Good co-ordination skills and a methodical approach
 Desire to work and learn within the construction/engineering sector

Essential
 Hold a CSCS Card

Ideally GCSE Grade C/4

As this Apprenticeship is within the City of London, we can take candidates from Islington, Camden, Southwark, Kensington, Chelsea, Westminster, Tower Hamlets, Lambeth, Hackney, Haringey and Wandsworth.
