What You'll Be Doing:

⚫ Oversee daily grounds maintenance tasks at the Deptford depot

⚫ Lead and motivate a team delivering services including:

⚫ Grass cutting, weeding, shrub pruning & planting

⚫ Habitat management, leaf clearance, and herbicide application

⚫ Assist the Contract Manager and Supervisor with planning and quality control

⚫ Ensure all work meets high standards and follows health & safety guidelines

⚫ Set clear expectations and act as a role model on-site

Requirements

🔵 Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within horticulture or grounds maintenance.

🔵Strong team leadership or supervisory experience

🔵Recognised qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Amenity Horticulture

🔵Pesticide application certificates (PA1/PA6)

🔵Competency using IT systems (e.g. tablets or work order apps)

🔵Full UK Manual Driving Licence

🔵A flexible, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
