Overview

The UK solar industry is booming and the demand for skilled solar installers is rapidly growing. That means there are lots of great job opportunities on offer for you!

Competitive starting salaries of £22 – 25,000 per year with opportunities to quickly progress to £30 – 35,000 with a few years of experience.

On this 6-week programme you’ll get all the knowledge and skills you need to kickstart your career and land your first solar role.

To help you get ready for your job search, we’ll help you with CV writing workshops, 1:1 mentoring and mock interviews.

Who is this programme for?

This programme is open to anyone aged 18+ who is living in or near London and currently unemployed or working on a zero-hours contract.

You don’t need any qualifications or experience to apply

We are looking for learners who:

• Enjoy working outdoors in a hands-on physical role
• Enjoy working with others in a team
• Are comfortable working at heights‍
• Full driver’s license preferred

• Free IT support – if you need a laptop, webcam, or internet connectivity to help you access the online part of the bootcamp, we’ll provide it while you study, free of charge

• Continue to claim benefits and Universal Credit throughout the programme
