What are the Pre-requisites?
There are no formal pre-requisites however learners may already be working in the built environment or construction sector. It will enable them to demonstrate the skills and knowledge that they have gained through their employment enabling learners to achieve a nationally recognised qualification. It may be of particular interest to current Domestic Energy Assessors who can upskill to a Retrofit Assessor.
How long does the course take?
The course is self paced on completion of assignments . Through a blend of theoretical learning and practical application, you’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of the PAS 2035 Retrofit Assessor role, empowering you to produce detailed condition reports and drive energy efficiency in existing buildings.
To achieve this qualification, learners must achieve the eight mandatory units. This qualification is a Pass/Fail course.

- Produce a condition report for a dwelling
