With a firm focus on increasing sustainability, improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions, and reusing what we have rather than creating new, the construction and built environment industry has fully embraced retrofitting in its building practices; which involves changing its structure, systems and amenities to improve the performance of the building, or make it fit for a new use.

If you are interested in gaining foundational knowledge and skills related to domestic retrofit, this Level 2 qualification is an excellent starting point. It is particularly suitable for those who want to understand the principles, processes, and safety considerations involved in retrofitting homes to improve energy efficiency and meet modern standards.
